Originally from Tampa, Florida, Derica has spent most of her adult life rooted in the Metro Detroit community. Before real estate, she spent approximately 16 years in the travel industry specializing in destination weddings and honeymoons — work built entirely on trust at life's most important moments. From there, 14-15 years in fitness coaching, focused especially on building confidence in women.

Licensed in 2019, Derica grew quickly enough that within a year and a half, her broker invited her to build a team. Hearts to Homes was born — and it was never about Derica. It was always about the mission.

She is bold, blunt, and unapologetically honest. She will tell you when a house isn't right for you. She will fight at the negotiating table. She will show up at a bad inspection and say "no — your home is out there, and we're going to find it." And she will do all of it with love.

Before real estate, Len spent nearly 20 years as a personal trainer and health & wellness coach in the Metro Detroit community. For two decades, he walked alongside people through some of the hardest and most transformative seasons of their lives — watching them show up broken, burned out, doubting themselves, and leave stronger, clearer, and more confident than they ever thought possible. That work taught him something no license can give you: how to truly show up for people when it matters most.
